Why are we here?

• Community of and for coaches
• Help us develop: our skills; our businesses; the market for coaching
• To share coaching experiences
• To support our individual growth and development
• To support businesses and individuals in the community for their development
• To develop a strategic mission statement
• To stay current/connected with like-minded people
• To provide education: on how to coach, grow your business, or even more broadly
• Connecting with other coaches, ICF, professional development, community

What value do we deliver to our customers?

• Present educational, fun, enlightening programs
• Welcome all
• Skill and business development
• Community building (help and support each other)
• Coaching, being a credible profession, needs to be overseen and nurtured by caring members
• The field has a responsibility to keep in focus those we serve
• Our clients deserve better lives
• Our community benefits from our personal growth
• Bring synergy from our individual strengths and backgrounds
• Offer education to meet the needs of public as well as ourselves
• Listen to and coach each other
• Have a solid presence in the community (the community knows who the NCCA is and the value coaching might deliver to them)
• One big network, even referral, group - we need to know each other's expertise better
• Advertising for our coaches, to bring in clients

What is our unique contribution?

• Directly involve coaches in a personal way (other ways are so impersonal)
• Easy (?) to connect with, get value from
• Listening fully, holding space for our clients to expand their dreams
• Cover northern Colorado and sometimes Wyoming
• The focus of the group changes with the members
• Support for each other, sharing experiences
• Detached, supportive, networking link (detached from outcomes, not attached to anything specific in community)
• Represent different niches and strengths

Homework: for the next meeting, each of us draft and bring an attempt at a purpose statement

Why do I show up here?

• I want to make a difference to real/immediate people I work with
• I want to see coaching broaden and become incorporated into society
• I like creating things
• It aligns with my life purpose
• I want all aspects of life to be at choice and with purpose
• General contact with other coaches
• Know what else is going on with coaching
• I always volunteer in community things in order to give back
• To help guide the group and increase credibility for my business
• To meet new people
• A sense of community contribution
• Learn what else is out there, who's doing what
• My own development as a leader
