Welcome and introductions

Topic ideas for group

• The people at the meeting contributed to the list of ideas for how we can best use our group meetings.
• People who were not able to attend are asked to mail your ideas to Lynne Morrell at < whirldpeaz@attbi.com >
• These ideas will be used by the new NCCA leaders in planning for the coming year

Membership Closure

• Martha sent out the notes on the closure of the membership policy discussion.

• Basically there’s no change from the current policy and practice

Your affirmation needed! As you know, we've been discussing whether to modify the NCCA membership requirements. Based on feedback from several members plus a good discussion at the March meetings, the Membership Circle recommends that no change to the NCCA bylaws be made. This means that (1) NCCA members must be ICF members, (2) guests may attend up to 6 meetings before joining, (3) only NCCA members can hold elected positions and (4) the NCCA is in alignment with ICF Chapter guidelines. Because of the intense discussion, we would like each member to affirm their support of this recommendation. New Officers’ Affirmations

• The list of 2003-2004 NCCA officers has been affirmed:

It is with great pleasure that I introduce to you our new leaders for the 2003-2004 year. Leadership positions go from May through May and we will have an official "pass the torch" ceremony at our regular May membership meeting. President: Christine Thomas Vice President: Lynne Morrell Secretary: Carl Dierschow Treasurer: Martha Conant Member Liaison: Bobbie Wilson As most of you know, we do not "vote" for our leadership. Instead, we send "affirmations" to let each of the new leadership know how much we appreciate them for what they bring to this role and to show our appreciation for them taking on this role. Please send "affirmations" to me at irenestein@att.net and I will pass them on to the new leadership at the "pass the torch" ceremony. Affirmations for specific individuals are the most effective and you can send as many as you like (in one email or separately). Please send the affirmations to me by April 30. Thanks. Monthly Planning Meeting location

• The next planning circle meeting will be at the Egg & I restaurant in Windsor on May 8th.   A map is available on the website at http://nccoaches.org/maps/EggAndIWindsor.htm
• Both new and old officers are to attend, along with anyone else who is interested.

May meeting, passing the torch

• Our next regular meeting on May 22nd will have the transition from the 2002-2003 officers to the new officers.
• Irene is the facilitator.
