NCCA News:

Our next regular membership meeting (October 24, 12-2 at Lonestar restaurant in Ft. Collins) will feature Mary Fisher: speaking about the new "You and the Small Business Development Center." All are welcome!

Vision of Coaching: You are invited…To vision big, To dream even bigger!

Come join Christine Thomas and Lynne Morrell on Oct 17th 6:30-8:30pm to determine what we as NCCA will be doing for the next year. We will meet at Lynne's house in Fort Collins.

This gathering will be an interactive evening beginning with the questions:

"Where do you see coaching in 50 years?"

"What is your vision/dream for NCCA in 50 years?"

We will explore possibilities for our coaching group…for the next year and years to come~ The evening will end with yummy desserts, coffee and tea~

Our monthly planning meetings (second Thursday of the month) are where we do a lot of the "business" end of NCCA. This year we decided to have a theme to plan around: Coaching Profession--Possibilities for a Better World. Join us for our next planning circle Oct. 10, 12:15-2 at Starry Night Terrace (Harmony and Timberline) to add your voice to our plans for the year.

To further serve its members, the ICF is pleased to announce a members-only presentation on how to recognize therapeutic issues. This 90 minute presentation and question and answer session is a practical presentation on what language look for, what topics are generally recognized as belonging in the therapeutic realm, and how you can protect yourself from ethical violations and possible civil or criminal liability. Our panel (including NCCA's Pat Williams) is four MCC coaches who all have practiced as therapists. They are experts and will help you grow your ability to recognize therapeutic issues and make appropriate referrals.
